*UnknownDespite repeated calls to the NC Office of Economic Recovery & Investment and Governor Beverly Perdue's office, we have been unable to determine how many jobs are expected to be created by virtue of the stimulus awards for many grants. Either the administration doesn't know, or they're not willing to tell taxpayers how their tax dollars will be spent for "job creation" in these program areas. Additionally, many job creation projections are based on a formula created by the federal government. The Capitol Monitor will attempt to determine actual job creation totals where the information is available.
